Genetic, morphological, and chemical studies have identified the two infants from the 31,000-year-old double grave on the Wachtberg in Krems, Lower Austria, as identical twins and have determined how long they survived. An international team of researchers with participation from the Austrian Academy of Sciences has reported the findings in the journal Nature Communications Biology.

In a marathon surgery on Oct. 24 and 25, 2020, surgeons at UC Davis Children’s Hospital successfully separated nine-month-old conjoined twins Abigail and Micaela Bachinskiy.

Nine-month-old conjoined twins Abigail and Micaela Bachinskiy are recovering at UC Davis Children’s Hospital after surgeons successfully separated them in a marathon surgery on Oct. 24 and 25.
The event in Twinsburg, Ohio is the largest annual gathering of twins and multiples in the world.

IN THE PANTHEON OF ULTRAMARATHONS—GRUELING, absurdly long-distance runs—the Comrades Marathon is one of the oldest, and among the most famous. Celebrating its 90th year this past May, the race takes these masochistic athletes over a 90-kilometer (56.1-mile) jaunt along South Africa’s rugged coast, between Pietermaritzburg to Durban.
This group photo of Chehalis area twins was taken on the lawn of Chehalis City Hall in 1933. The group included the Gilmore twin lions, which served as a trademark for the Gilmore Red Lion Oil Co. Wally Hill is pictured with his brother Warren in dark vests and white shirts — Warren's vest i plain and Wally's has a patch on it. The boys are sone of Mattie and Carl Hill and they were two of five children. In the 1930s, a Gilmore Red Lion Gasoline Station stood on Main Street at the site of the old Chehalis Muffler Shop, located across the street from Darigold in Chehalis.
The twins, Jamie Lynn and Amie Lynn, were joined from the lower chest to their belly button.
